Are Raw Foodists Intimidating?

I know what you’re thinking…

“Susan, I really want to try the raw vegan diet to cure my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and adrenal exhaustion but….

Then, do I have to do yoga?
On a beach?
Do I have to buy a new wardrobe consisting only of bikinis?
And, do I have to smile all the time?”

Nope. No. Nyet. Smiling is optional. (hee-hee!)

You don’t have to change who you are.

You just have to focus on getting well.

That’s it. Simple.

Just today. Just you. Doing the necessary thing to be *you* again.

I was a lump in my PJ’s with the energy of a rag doll.

Watching all the raw foodists speed-talking through their videos- telling me I could be healthy if I drank green juice- it was intimidating.

It was so far away from where I was it seemed impossible.

You know what?

I’m still not tan, and I don’t walk around in a bikini.

I don’t do yoga and my life’s not perfect.

But, I AM WELL.

That was my goal and I reached it. In four months!

So can you.

Just decide to start.

You won’t regret it.

P.S. The funny thing about those tan raw foodists that you see in bikini’s with all that energy is that most of them were sick too. They healed themselves with the raw food diet, and they want to share what they’ve learned and how far they’ve come. Who knows? Maybe someday you will too. : )
