This is my daily go-to on hot Summer mornings – I drink the whole full blender for breakfast! The layers of flavors in this one are amazing – the cucumber is hydrating and offsets the tartness of the fruit. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it!
Makes 32 oz :
1 peeled cuke
1 cup frozen blueberries
2 chunks of frozen pineapple
1-2 frozen bananas
1 thumb-size piece of fresh peeled ginger
Water to desired thickness
Optional for omega 3’s – 1 or 2 tbs RAW flax seeds or small handful of RAW pumpkin seeds
*Tip blend all well except banana. Check consistency and add more water, if needed. Then, add more or less bananas to thicken like soft-serve ice cream, or an icy slushy, as desired.
